Our story

Roadmates began with a single question: what would it take to give every traveler the best possible experience on two wheels in Bangkok? The answer became a family-run shop at Sathorn 19, built around one standard — treat every visitor the way we'd want to be treated in an unfamiliar city.

That's still what drives us today: honest advice, bikes we'd ride ourselves, and routes we plan around you — so you leave having ridden the real Bangkok, not just the guidebook version. Come say hi when you land.

Questions renters ask us most

How much does a scooter cost per day?
From ฿350/day (Honda Click 125) up to ฿600/day (Yamaha NMAX, GPX Drone, Honda Click 160) — weekly runs ฿1,800–3,300. Monthly rental is paused for new customers Oct–Apr, and the 2-week rate isn't available during that period either (1 week max). Full price list on Fleet & Pricing.
What if I have an accident or breakdown?
Call us immediately, file a report at the nearest police station without moving the bike, and take photos of the scene. Rentals are for use within Bangkok only.
Do I need a license?
Yes — a valid motorcycle license or an International Driving Permit (Category A) with a motorcycle endorsement. ASEAN nationals can use their home-country license directly, no IDP needed.
What do I need to book?
Passport, license, and a refundable deposit (฿3,000 daily/weekly, ฿5,000 monthly) — message at least 1 day ahead, then pick up at our Sathorn 19 shop.
Can I ride outside Bangkok?
No — bikes are for use within Bangkok only. Riding outside the city needs written permission in advance.
Is insurance included?
Basic compulsory (พ.ร.บ.) insurance is included — it doesn't cover damage to the bike itself.
Can you deliver the bike?
No — shop pickup only at Sathorn 19.
